Dry Needling at Elevation

Dry Needling
Dry needling is a technique used by trained healthcare professionals, such as physical therapists, chiropractors, and acupuncturists. Unlike traditional acupuncture, dry needling focuses primarily on treating myofascial trigger points. These points are tight bands of muscle fibers that can cause pain, reduced range of motion, and other musculoskeletal issues.
During a dry needling session, a practitioner inserts thin filiform needles, usually without any medication or injection, directly into the trigger points. The aim is to stimulate the muscles, fascia, and connective tissues, promoting blood flow, releasing muscle tension, and restoring proper functioning.
